Dear Students and Families,

We extend a warm welcome to everyone in our school community as we begin a new school year. At Elder’s Mills Public School, we set high standards academically and in all other areas.  A balanced literacy program based on the Provincial Curriculum inclusive of the Arts and daily physical fitness has been collaboratively incorporated by our staff.

 At Elder’s Mills Public School, we have developed a school environment which recognizes student learning as its central focus. We encourage students to act in a respectful manner and to develop a responsible attitude towards learning at all times.

 Since education is the shared responsibility of students, parents, teachers and the administration, an open line of communication between the home and the school is vital for a positive and an effective learning experience. The staff at Elder’s Mills strive daily in supporting each student in achieving their personal best. Therefore, parents are invited to contact the school regularly to discuss their child’s progress and development.
